NO. 32298 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Flathead County Floodplain Administrator has received additional information for the following Floodplain Development Permit applications: FDP-26-10 A request by Northwestern Energy (NEW) to install a new 8-inch gas main at 60 PSI from Big Mountain City Gate Station south along Dillon Rd to US Hwy 40. A district regulator station will be installed to assist with low pressure areas in Columbia Falls. The new gas main is to involve excavating trenches and boring streams, driveways, and roads on Dillon Road within the 100-year floodplain of Walker Creek. The subject properties are located at 2680 & 2685 on Dillon Rd near Whitefish, and the correct legal descriptions of the properties are as follow:  Tract 1 in the Certificate of Survey 13844 in the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter in Section 04, Township 30N, Range 21W, P.M.M, Flathead County, Montana Tract 1 in the Certificate of Survey 14592 in the West Half of Section 03, Township 30N, Range 21W, P.M.M, Flathead County, Montana The complete application may be viewed at our office.
