KEC holding annual members' meeting

The Kootenai Electric Cooperative (KEC) annual membership meeting is Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lake City Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road in Coeur d'Alene.
Members will hear reports from KEC's General Manager and Board of Directors, learn about key cooperative initiatives and projects, and submit questions for a Q&A session with KEC leadership.
Each member household attending the meeting will receive a $25 gift card and will be entered into prize drawings featuring items donated by KEC vendors, including:
• 22-inch Blackstone Griddle
• YETI Roadie Cooler
• STIHL Chainsaw valued at $760
Attending members will also be entered into drawings for three $500 gift cards. Members must be present to win.
KEC Board of Directors Districts 3 and 4 are up for election this year. Each district has a single candidate running. Under KEC's Bylaws, when a candidate is unopposed, they are elected by acclamation at the Annual Meeting. Therefore, we will not conduct an online or mail-in election.
KEC's office will close at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, to allow staff to prepare for the Annual Meeting.
