Ronald Thomas, 91

Ronald Ray Thomas was born April 20, 1935, to Math and Hilde Thomas along with his twin brother, Donald (Connie). He had two additional brothers, Leroy (Joyce) and Richard (Sharron).
Ron grew up in Wallace and graduated from Wallace High School in 1954. He did a short term in the U.S. Army Reserves. Ron worked in the grocery department at the Food Center and then became a meat cutter for the store. He was active in the Wallace Drum and Bugle and bowling. He spent a lot of time catching and smoking fish from Lake Coeur d’Alene.
In 1955, he married Clareann Rodgers; from that marriage, four sons were born: Steven (Shelley), Mark (Laurie), Kevin (Teresa) and Michael (Gina). Upon retirement from the Food Center, Ron moved to Post Falls and resided there until his passing. He became a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by sons Steven (Shelley) and Kevin (Teresa); daughters-in-law Laurie and Gina; grandchildren; Tara (John) Arts, Amanda Thomas (Neil Ginter), Josh (Mollie) Thomas, Tori Thomas, Sara Thomas, Charissa (Chris) Carter, Matthew Thomas, and Tyler Thomas; great-grandkids; Elliana Wurtz, Cormac and Tierney Thomas, Colm and Murphy Magee-Thomas, Adeline Thomas, Mera and Aurelia Carter; sisters-in-law Sharron and Connie; and nephew Danny (Louise) Thomas and family along with several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Donald and Leroy (Joyce); sons Mark and Michael; and grandson, Zac. His brother, Richard, passed away one week after Ron.
