PREP GOLF: Post Falls wins boys title at Liberty Lake Invitational

The Post Falls boys totaled 48 points in a match play format to win the Liberty Lake Invitational on Tuesday at Liberty Lake Golf Course.
The top four individual scores were used to determine the team score.
Under this format, players got one point for winning a hole, a half-point for halving the hole, and 0 points for losing the hole.
Lakeland won the girls tournament at nearby MeadowWood Golf Course, edging Lake City by one point.
Area schools are scheduled to compete in The Highlands Invitational next Wednesday at The Highlands Golf Course in Post Falls.
