Date of Notice August 20, 2026 Notice is hereby given that a Site Plan Review application and SEPA Environmental Checklist was received by Grant County on July 23, 2026 from Beef NW Feeders LLC (Designated Contact: Wes Killion, 6287 Adams Rd N, Quincy, WA 98848), was found to be technically complete on August 14, 2026, Project: Beef Northwest Feeders, LLC proposes to construct a steam-flake feed mill on the property to support the existing feedyard operation. All feed produced will be consumed by Beef Northwest Feeders cattle on this parcel. The new feed mill consists of a truck unload receiving area, two 42-foot diameter grain storage bins (49 ft peak height), an operations building containing a steam-flake processing line, two roller mills, a 400 HP natural gas-fired boiler, a flake dryer/cooler, and ancillary storage. Water for the feed mill operation will be supplied by the existing on-property wells. No sanitary wastewater is generated. Current Zoning is Agriculture (AG). SEPA: Grant County has reviewed the proposal for probable adverse environmental impacts and anticipates issuing a Determination of Non‑Significance (DNS) or Mitigated DNS (MDNS) upon completion of the required environmental review. APPLICATION FOR COVERAGE UNDER THE GENERAL PERMIT FOR BIOSOLIDS MANAGEMENT Notice is hereby given that The Sheep Camp is applying to the Washington State Department of Ecology for coverage under the General Permit for Biosolids Management. The Sheep Camp manages domestic septage through a land application program. Septage is applied to Agriculture land located at 19525 Rd 2 SW George Wa 98824.Application for Coverage under the General Permit for Biosolids Management and a Site Specific Land Application Plan address the management of the material at this site, and a General Land Application Plan addresses how future land application sites will be identified and managed. Presently no new land application sites are anticipated, however, future proposals for additional sites will be consistent with an approved General Land Application Plan, additional environmental review will be completed if needed, and public notice will be provided consistent with Chapter 173-308 WAC, Biosolids Management, including posting of the potential land application site for at least 30 days.
