A “Floater” license allows you to move an existing license to a new location outside the original quota area. For requirements related to transferring a license between quota areas see § 16-4-204, MCA, and ARM 42.12.144. IMPORTANT: This opportunity isn’t for a new license. It allows the highest bidder to transfer an existing Montana All-Beverages license from a different quota area that allows a license to float out of it. If you are the highest successful bidder, you must secure an existing Montana All-Beverages License to be able to submit with the competitive bid application afforded by this opportunity.
