Back to School Bash set for Saturday, Aug. 22

The Hope House is hosting its annual Back to School Bash this Saturday, Aug. 22, giving local students a chance to start strong for the upcoming school year.  

Students can attend the event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. The bash offers free school supplies, children's shoes, bounce houses, food, games and more. Powered entirely by volunteers and donations, the Bash is Hope House’s largest event.  

The Hope House of Bonners Ferry is a local nonprofit organization managed by husband and wife Eli and Anna Pine. Hope House assists individuals and families by offering necessities such as clothing, food, hygiene items and household essentials to those facing financial difficulties and unable to afford basic needs.
