John 'Ned' Paffile, 87

John “Ned” Paffile, 87, passed away July 19, 2026, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Ned was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Lewiston, Idaho, to John and Phoebe Paffile.

Ned had a passion for rodeo and anything fast. He loved rebuilding cars, which seemed to be a family hobby.

Ned adored his grandchildren: Beckett Hoops, Brier Hoops and Braily Hoops. The “3B's” brought him joy and met his match when it came to teasing and being stubborn.

A celebration of life will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, at the Airport Park Shelter area, 528 Cedar Ave., Lewiston, ID 83501.
