Polson Chamber Block Party with the Pirates — 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20 at Linderman; join the chamber and the Pirates for fun, food and family. The event includes live music, food trucks, family activities and business and community booths. 

CSKT back-to-school kickoff event — 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 at Salish Kootenai College; enjoy free backpacks, school supplies, bounce houses and face painting at SKC. After the event, the Three Chiefs Social Powwow will kick off from 3-6 p.m. 

Harvest on Main — 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 on Main Street in Ronan; join Mission West Community Development Partners in Ronan for a night of local food, music and brews. The event includes a live and silent auction. 

Farmers Markets — Polson: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Fridays through the second Friday in October on Third Ave.; the market has over 50 vendors selling locally grown, crafted and baked goods. Ronan: 4-7 p.m. Thursdays next to the visitors center. Mission Falls Market in St. Ignatius: 4:30-7 p.m. Fridays at Good Old Days Park Pavilion. 

Arts & Crafts in Polson — 1-4 p.m. Wednesdays at Summit Independent Living, 3 Ninth Ave. West, Suite 1 in Polson; join CSKT elder Tammie Miller for an afternoon of crafting, companionship and snacks. Call 406-215-1604 for more information.
