Polson Seniors: Quorum needed for annual meeting

The annual membership meeting will be held Friday, Aug. 28, starting at 11:30 a.m. Lunch starts at noon and includes a turkey dinner.
We need a quorum to proceed, so please attend. We appreciate your input.
Our community center provides space for individuals and groups to meet for physical and mental health, social and educational purposes, and may be reserved for special events on weekends and evenings. We are open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays, or later by appointment.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday ($5 donation; $10 without a completed MASTS form). Milk is available with all meals; delivery service is available for those who meet our guidelines.
Main dishes include beef enchiladas, baked beans and Tex-Mex salad bar, Aug. 20; chicken strips, Aug. 21; beef noodle soup, Aug. 24; stuffed peppers, Aug. 25; taco in the shell, Aug. 26; Polish dogs with mac-n-cheese, Aug. 27; and birthday dinner at lunch, Aug. 28, featuring turkey with all the fixings and birthday cake. Don’t forget: the annual meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. that day.
Activities at the air-conditioned Polson Senior Center include bingo at 6 p.m. Fridays and card bingo, 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays; pinochle, 12:30 p.m. Monday, no pass, and Thursdays, pass four (new and old players welcome); pool table available 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily; mahjong and bridge, noon Wednesdays (looking for substitutes and regular players); and exercise class (low impact and video-assisted), 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Spinning Wheelers meet 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays (call 208-520-1013); and the veterans service officer visits the center from 10 a.m.-noon on the first Friday and third Tuesday of each month (walk-ins welcome).
