Cd'A Arts Awards accepting nominations

Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is once again accepting nominations for the annual Coeur d’Alene Arts Awards. Members of the Coeur d’Alene community are invited to nominate artists, educators, volunteers, patrons, organizations or businesses who have significantly contributed to arts in Coeur d’Alene. 

For 30 years, the annual Cd'A Arts Awards have recognized the individuals and organizations who enrich the local community through their creativity, advocacy, philanthropy and leadership. Last year’s award recipients included former Mayor Sandi Bloem, vocal and piano instructor Jenny Shotwell and production company Shakespeare Coeur d'Alene. 

Nominees must have contributed significantly to the arts scene in Coeur d’Alene, but do not need to reside in the city limits. The six award categories are: The Sandi Bloem Arts Legacy Award, Excellence in the Arts, Support of the Arts, Emerging Arts, Arts in Education and Student Excellence in the Arts. Award recipients will be honored at the 30th annual Coeur d’Alene Arts Awards celebration in October.

To nominate an individual or organization, fill out a nomination form on the Coeur d’Alene Arts Awards website, or call 208-769-2300 to request a form. You can also pick up nomination forms in person at Coeur d’Alene City Hall, 710 E. Mullan Ave, Coeur d’Alene, 83814. Nominations must be received by Aug. 28, 2026.
