CPMC announces medical director of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jacob Christian as Medical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The appointment reinforces the organization's commitment to providing the highest level of care for women and newborns by ensuring clinical leadership from the only board-certified OB/GYN physician practicing in Lincoln County.

Since joining Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in 2025, Dr. Christian has provided comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women throughout northwest Montana and northern Idaho. In addition to being board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Christian has advanced training in robotic-assisted surgery, further enhancing the specialized care available to patients in the region. 

As Medical Director, he will provide clinical leadership for the department while continuing to care for patients across every stage of life, from adolescence through pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, and beyond.

As Medical Director, Dr. Christian will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to support quality improvement initiatives, strengthen clinical excellence, and expand access to women's healthcare throughout the region. 

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center's OB/GYN program serves patients from across northwest Montana, including Lincoln County, as well as neighboring Boundary County in northern Idaho. The department continues to experience steady growth and is committed to expanding access to high-quality women's healthcare for patients throughout the surrounding region.
