SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint Rotary is seeking additional sponsorship for its fifth annual charity golf tournament at the Idaho Club.

The tournament, which is overbooked on teams, raises funds for the organization’s career tech education scholarship. Rotary is still seeking a lunch sponsor ($3,000), cart sponsor ($1,000), tradesman sponsors ($500), par partners ($500) and hole sponsors ($150).

Businesses can also sponsor a specific scholarship by donating up to $10,000 and as little as $1,000. A CTE scholarship is typically $3,000, which will allow the recipient to fully earn their certification.

The CTE scholarship is available for those under 31 years old in the community looking to enter a career technical field, which can range from plumbing to culinary arts. The scholarship is constantly open, allowing residents to apply as the timelines up for them.

Those interested in sponsoring the event are encouraged to contact Tim Cochran ([email protected]) or Angela Cochran ([email protected]) for more information.
