WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY NOTICE OF 30-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR AN AIR POLLUTION SOURCE Lamb Weston-Pasco 960 Glade Road N. Pasco, WA 99301 Lamb Weston submitted a notice of construction application for their Pasco plant located at 960 Glade Road. They propose installing advanced wastewater treatment facilities, including a boiler, flare, and emergency engine. The facility will have odor and sulfur controls. Emission increases from this project include: · 11.31 tons per year carbon monoxide (CO) · 7.17 tons per year volatile organic compounds (VOCs) · 4.46 tons per year sulfur dioxide (SO2) · 4.31 tons per year of nitrogen oxides (NOx) · 0.62 tons per year particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5) A notice of construction (NOC) air permit limits the amount of air pollutants a business can emit. A NOC permit is required before installing a new source of air pollution or modifying an existing source of air pollution. This permit is sometimes called a “pre-construction permit” because a business must have one before starting construction or operating their business. Project documents are available for review at: ecology.wa.gov/LWPasco We determined this proposal satisfies the requirements of Chapters 173-400 WAC. We plan to approve the application. Ecology invites the public to comment. An online public hearing will be held if Ecology determines there is significant public interest. Project Name: Grant County International Airport Taxiway G Reconstruction Project Description: The Port of Moses Lake (Port) proposes the Grant County International Airport Taxiway G Reconstruction Project to reconstruct approximately 2,400 linear feet of Taxiway G, from the intersection of Runway 32R to approximately just south of the Taxiway G2 intersection. Connector Taxiway G1 will also be reconstructed. The taxiway and connector will be reconstructed to meet current Federal Aviation Administration standards for TDG-6 aircraft and includes taxiway edge light base cans and replacement of one lighted sign.
