North Fork community members are organizing a birthday celebration in honor of the 110th dedication of the National Park Service on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Aug. 25 is a fee-free day to National Parks including Glacier.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the public is invited to gather at the Northern Lights Saloon for music and food. As sunset approaches, around 7 p.m., there will be a 5K round trip family-friendly bike parade.

The route begins at the Northern Lights Saloon at 255 Polebridge Loop Road. People will slowly parade 1.5 miles along the river enjoying the sunset in the North Fork valley. The route finishes at the Polebridge Ranger Station, where a “happy birthday” sing-along and birthday cake is planned.
