Audrey Sines, 49

Audrey Ann Sines passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on July 15, 2026.

Audrey was born May 2, 1977, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Clinton “Butch” Sines and Karen Sines. She grew up on the shores of Hayden Lake alongside her sister, Dina Sines, and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Humboldt State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute before becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. 

Audrey’s deep Christian faith guided her life and shaped her commitment to helping others. As a therapist, she worked to increase access to equitable mental health care for racial, ethnic, and cultural minorities. She was deeply committed to holistic wellness and self-care and created spaces where people felt safe, valued, and seen.

These qualities made Audrey not only a gifted therapist but also an extraordinary friend. People were naturally drawn to her. She greeted them with a warm smile, genuine interest, and an ability to listen that made them feel truly heard and understood. Audrey was the kind of friend everyone hopes to have: thoughtful, generous, compassionate, and always willing to listen.

Audrey found joy in adventure and in life’s simple pleasures. She loved road trips to hear live music, camping throughout the Pacific Northwest, spending time by the water, and planning the next family vacation. She approached new experiences with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a joyful spirit.

Above all, Audrey was a loving and nurturing mother to her daughter, Shoshana. Together, they were a force for all that is good, wholesome, and wonderful in the world. No conversation with Audrey was complete without her mentioning how proud she was of Shoshana and how continually amazed she was by her. She also treasured being an aunt to Joshua.

The light Audrey brought to her family, friendships, healing work, and community will continue to shine through all who knew and loved her. 

A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held Aug. 29, 2026, at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 521 E. Lakeside Ave., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
