Chris and Sandy Bessler were recently honored by the Sandpoint Rotary club and Past District Governor David Keyes.
Chris Bessler was given a Paul Harris Fellowship award for his record of community involvement and business success. The Paul Harris Fellowship is the only Rotary award that can be given to non-Rotarians. Bessler is the president and founder of Keokee media and marketing and has been active in many nonprofits. He also is the founder of Sandpoint Magazine.
Keokee manages numerous websites and is also a regional book publisher.
Chris has been Volunteer of the Month for the Sandpoint Chamber and he recently rejoined the Panida board of directors. The Besslers recently sold Sandpoint Magazine to the Hagadone Corporation as they eye retirement.
Club members gave the Besslers a standing ovation after they received this prestigious award. Club President Amy Bean said she was astonished by what the Besslers had accomplished and was grateful for all of the help Keokee has provided to promote the CHAFE bike ride and all the good they do in the community.
