With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Forrest E. Prichard, 88, of Columbia Falls on Aug. 21, 2026. Forrest passed peacefully at home and is now reunited with the love of his life.

Our father, Forrest, was the heart of the family; a dedicated father and husband, always putting his family first. He was a role model for the men in his life, teaching by example. He worked as an iron worker at the aluminum plant for over 30 years.

In 1958, he married Vera, the love of his life.

Forrest is survived by daughter, Robin (Rich) Coffin; son, Scott (Yvonne) Prichard; daughter, Jodi Prichard; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one brother, Richard (Betty) Prichard.

Forrest was the kind of man who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed many hobbies using his hands including woodworking, fishing, snow catting and he was an avid horseman.

Forrest and the family were active members of the Rocky Mountain Riders Saddle Club for many years, enjoying O-Mok-Sees and trail riding.

His ashes will be laid to rest Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. during a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery. An open house potluck will follow at the family's property.
