Gloria Venerdi, 80

Born in Seattle on Sept. 7, 1945, Gloria Jean Venerdi, 80, passed peacefully on Aug. 17, 2026, in Kalispell.
Gloria attended the University of Washington, where she studied political science and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She married her lifelong love, Peter E. Venerdi Jr., on July 3, 1966, and was married for 49 years before his death in 2015.
She is survived by her sister Salli Kenrick (Mark Abernathy); three children: Peter “Bo” (Laura Venerdi), Stacylyn (Elias Zuniga) and Wade (Haley Venerdi); eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Gloria loved her life in Montana and will be remembered as a faithful Catholic, avid reader, dog lover and sports fan.
Memorial services are scheduled at St. Richard's in Columbia Falls. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, and Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, with a burial at Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following.
