Roy “Bucky” Quimby, 67, of Olney, passed away at home on Aug. 25, 2026.
Bucky was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, on Oct. 7, 1958, to Roy Quimby Sr. and Joyce Quimby. He moved to Olney during middle school and went on to graduate from Whitefish High School in 1976. Olney became his home, and he spent many years giving back to the community he loved, including volunteering with the Olney Fire Department.

Bucky is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sheila; his brothers, Lonnie (Janet) and Larry Quimby; his sister, Cindy (Mark) Church; his children, Tommy (Dziko) Larsen, Diane (David) Brown, Brittany (Mark) Quimby and Kyle (Tarryn) Quimby; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Quimby Sr. and Joyce Quimby and his great-grandson, Hunter.
Bucky will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Bucky’s life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the Olney Fire Department. Wear camo if you please!
