Millan powers Riders to knockout win over Mobiles

Jake Millan hit two out of the park as the Range Riders completed a sweep over the RedPocket Mobiles Sunday afternoon at Glacier Bank Park.
The two long balls came after the teams played to a 6-6 tie over nine innings.
The Range Riders (20-22 in the second half, 49-41 overall) took the advantage with two runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth. Carson Garner scored on a wild pitch to put Glacier ahead. A sacrifice fly from Brock Tibbitts made it 2-0.
In the fifth, Carson Hornung singled to score Logan Beard and extend the advantage. Millan then added an RBI single.
Braylon Bishop tied the game for the Mobiles (1-41, 13-77) with one swing in the sixth on a grand slam out to center field.
Millan hit a seventh inning sacrifice fly to put the Range Riders back in front. Tommy Rover hit an RBI single soon after to make it 6-4.
Bishop again went yard — his 12th of the season — in the eighth to cut the deficit to 6-5 before Manny Jackson tied the game in the ninth with a homer of his own.
That set up the knockout round.
Aidan Elfering went seven innings for Glacier, allowing five runs on eight hits. He sat down five.
Glacier now heads to Ogden for six games to wrap up the regular season.
