Hickey nets 15 in Vikings' win over Loggers

Treker Hickey swished two 3-pointers and scored a game-high 15 points to lead Bigfork past Libby 52-31 in Class A boys basketball on Thursday evening. 

Austin Savik made three 3-pointers to add 11 points for Bigfork (8-5, 5-2 in Northwest A). Tamret Savik made five shots to score 12 and Justin Gates contributed six.  

Bransen Holzer led Libby (2-10, 0-6 in conf.) with 11 points; Isaac Lamere knocked down two 3-pointers, and Tristan Andersen finished with six.  

Hickey’s five points in the first period helped Bigfork jump out to a 13-4 lead. By halftime, the Vikings led 24-9. 

Holzer rained a 3-pointer and made a pair of free throws in the final period, leading the Loggers to their highest-scoring quarter of the game.
