Profiles in Cowardice

Dear Senator Daines:

We are writing to you to express our complete disappointment in you as our elected Senator from Montana. Once again, you've show your spinelessness and fealty to Donald Trump over representing the interests of your constituents. 

You ducked for cover and acted as a cheerleader for Trump's fake takeover of Venezuela. As of this writing, you are endorsing Trump's cockamamie scheme for his Greenland grab. It may be a moot point after Trump humiliated himself and embarrassed the United States on the world stage recently.

Trump has proven himself unfit for the Presidency with his incoherent ramblings and disdain for the Constitution. He needs to be reined in for the good of our great nation, but until flunkies like you and your Republican colleagues show some backbone, we are afraid our 250-year-old Republic is in peril of fading into oblivion. 

This is serious. 

We never in our wildest imagination thought the freedom and decency of America would be jeopardized by an elected dictator. We thought, as did the Founding Fathers, that by having three co-equal branches of government, this could never happen. 

You took an oath to defend and protect the Constitution. DO IT!

We look forward to receiving you usual generic and meaningless response to this email.
