Rhonda Magera, 63

Rhonda LaVonne Magera, age 63, of St. Maries, Idaho, passed away Feb. 1, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Rhonda was born June 4, 1962, in Kellogg, Idaho, to Marilyn J. (Martin) and Frederick D. Magera and grew up in the Silver Valley. 

In her younger years, Rhonda was known for her motivational speaking engagements at area schools and her joy of music. In recent years, Rhonda enjoyed bingo, ice cream socials and drives on the St. Joe River.

Rhonda is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Dean Paul, her brother, Dale, and his wife, Chrisie, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Frederick Magera, and her brother, Donny Magera.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 13, 2026, at the English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. Pastor Larry Comer will be officiating.

The family wishes to thank the amazing care team at Valley Vista in St. Maries, with special thanks to Karen and Candie. We are so grateful for your care and kindness to Rhonda for so many years.
