Hellgate boys beat Flathead

MISSOULA — Zane Gillhouse scored 18 points, Spencer Wayland added 17 and Missoula Hellgate made a 36-20 halftime lead hold up for a 63-42 win over Flathead in boys basketball Thursday.
Gillhouse and Wayland combined for 20 first-half points for the Knights, who improved to 10-3 overall and 7-2 in Western AA games with Eric Hays coaching for his son Jeff, who was out with an illness.
Ben Reichner’s two 3-pointers and eight points led the Braves (1-13, 0-8).
