Hayden, ID: Hayden Canyon Charter (HCC) is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Hayden Canyon Charter meets the needs of a diverse student population. HCC is “designed to prepare youth – through hands-on learning, in critical thinking and character development – to blaze new trails and solve real world problems.” The curriculum, instruction, and assessment are designed around project-based themes and hands-on applied learning that encompasses all subject areas throughout the day. Students will explore this applied learning approach, aligned with the highest academic standards, through outdoor field experiences, artistic discovery, scientific investigation, and innovative process improvement. Applied learning experiences will incorporate design processes and peer collaboration. The application will open again on March 5, 2026 for those who did not make the initial deadline. Students for who an application is received on, or after, March 6 will be added to the bottom of the waitlist for their grade in the order their application is received. 2026-2027 Enrollment: Hayden Canyon Charter will enroll an initial maximum of 450 students for the 2026-2027 school year.
