Butte boys edge past Wolfpack

BUTTE — Hudson Luedtke scored 30 points as Butte closed on a 7-2 run for a 69-64 victory over Glacier Friday evening in a Western AA boys showdown at the Butte Civic Center.


Brody Hanson added 19 for the Bulldogs, including a dunk with 1:38 left that put Butte ahead 64-62. 


Hanson added two free throws in the final minute, while Luedtke also converted 3 of 4 from the line to secure the win for the Bulldogs. 


Cooper Pelc led the Wolfpack with 20 points, including four 3-pointers. Talis Pitts added 13, he knocked down three triples in the first quarter. Glacier hit six threes in the opening eight minutes and 10 in the game. 


The Wolfpack led 49-48 after three quarters before the Bulldogs closed with a 21-15 advantage in the final frame.
