Libby girls drop three Northwestern A games

The Libby Loggers endured a difficult stretch of Northwest A Conference play last week, falling to Ronan, Browning and Bigfork.
Libby dropped a 58-35 decision at Ronan on Saturday, Jan. 31, after the Maidens used a strong second quarter to create separation. Ronan outscored the Loggers 16-6 in the period to take a 28-18 halftime lead and continued to pull away in the second half.
Rylee Delmas led Libby with 19 points, while Hadleigh Wood added seven. Ronan was paced by Nefertiti Stewart, who scored 19 points.
Against Bigfork on Thursday, Jan. 29, Hadliegh Wood and Rylee Delmas each had five points but the Loggers fell 60-16
The Loggers (2-11, 0-7) fell 61-5 at Browning on Saturday, Jan. 24. The Indians opened the game with a 16-0 first-quarter run.
Hadleigh Wood and Jayva Boehmler scored two points apiece to lead Libby.
The Loggers played at Columbia Falls Thursday and will play at Polson Saturday.
