POST FALLS — Local artistry and a little romance will intertwine during two special events this month at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center.

The opening reception for the JACC's inaugural Members' Exhibit will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday. The Members' Exhibit features works by talented local artists across multiple mediums. The opening reception will offer the public a chance to meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments and experience the diverse creativity of the community.

"Our members are the heart of JACC," Executive Director Darla Dreyer said in a Jan. 27 news release. "This exhibit celebrates their talent and gives our community a chance to discover the incredible artistry right here in our own backyard."

Romantic Jazz featuring Liv Tracy and the David Larsen Quartet will make audiences swoon during an intimate evening of smooth, soulful jazz starting at 7 p.m. Feb. 20. Vocalist Tracy will take the stage with saxophonist Larsen and his talented quartet for a concert dedicated to lifting spirits and celebrating love. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 each.

Both events will be at the JACC, 405 N. William St., Post Falls.
