Aspen Orr poured in 31 points as the Troy Trojans rallied for a 61-57 road win over the Charlo Vikings on Saturday, Jan. 31, snapping a tough stretch with a dramatic fourth-quarter surge.

Troy trailed by as many as 18 points early after Charlo jumped out to a 23-10 first-quarter lead, but the Trojans chipped away over the middle two periods before exploding for 21 points in the fourth. Troy held Charlo to just four points in the final eight minutes to complete the comeback and even the Lady Trojans record at 7-7.

Orr led all scorers with 31 points, accounting for more than half of Troy’s offense. Hailey Dungan added eight points, Nautika Larson finished with seven and Ainsley Huitron scored six.

The win followed a pair of Western 7B losses earlier in the week that left Troy at 6-7 overall and 0-5 in league play.

On Friday, the Trojans fell 49-30 at home to the Plains Trotters. Troy stayed within striking distance through the first half but managed just seven points after halftime as Plains steadily pulled away.

Troy also dropped a 66-44 decision to the Eureka Lions on Tuesday. Orr led the Trojans with 12 points in that game, while Dungan scored 11, Larson and Hall added eight apiece, and Huitron finished with five.

Troy hosted St. Regis Thursday and was scheduled to host Mission on Saturday.
