Beverly "Bev" Jane Kunik, 89, of Columbia Falls went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 3, 2026.

Bev was born on Sept. 13, 1936, in Plover, Iowa, to Chester "Chick" Klein and Roberta "Bert" Klein. On April 1, 1970, she married Ronald "Ron" Kunik, and together they built a beautiful life full of love and adventure. Bev owned and operated Glacier Inn Restaurant in Columbia Falls for five years. They were famous for their lunch specials, homemade pies and cinnamon rolls.

She found joy in cooking and being with her children and grandchildren — family was the most important part of her life.

Beverly is now reunited in heaven with her parents and her siblings, Grace, Shirley, Rick and Dennis.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Ron Kunik; their children, Gayla, Shane, Terry and Steve; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Sandy; her brother, Butch; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Though deeply missed, her family rejoices in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of the Lord.

A funeral service will be held for Beverly at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13 at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
