Bigfork Playhouse holds auditions

The Bigfork Playhouse Children's Theatre is holding auditions for its upcoming production of "The Addams Family!"

This “anything but normal” famous family is coming to the stage in Bigfork. Get ready to snap those fingers with some of the most lively, and deadly, characters to grace our stage. 

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Center, located at 833 Grand Dr, Bigfork. Students in grades five and six will audition from 4:30 to 6 p.m., while students in grades seven through 12 will audition from 6 to 8 p.m. Those auditioning should prepare a 30-second monologue or a short selection from another play or book. 

Plan to learn and sing something at the audition. Wear comfortable shoes to move and dance in. 

BPCT welcomes all young performers who are eager to step into the world of theatre and be part of an exciting, ensemble-driven production. 

Performance dates are March 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m., March 15 at 2 p.m., and March 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. 

Those interested in working on technical parts – building sets, props, costumes, lights and sound - are invited to participate. Parent and student assistance is welcome.
