The Samaritan House announced the selection of Cassidy Kipp as its new executive director. Kipp will assume the role March 2 and brings a strong commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and impact in the Flathead Valley.
"Cassidy brings a unique combination of deep institutional knowledge, proven leadership and a genuine commitment to community impact,” Nikki Lintz, Samaritan House Board President, said. “Her extensive experience in housing development, federal funding and collaborative systems-building makes her distinctively prepared to lead Samaritan House into its next chapter.
Kipp has previously served as Program Manager, Department Director, Deputy Director, Housing Navigator, and most recently, Director of Project Development at Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana. She brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in housing stability, homelessness response and social services. Her background includes leading federally funded housing programs; administering HUD and Continuum of Care grants; overseeing coordinated entry systems; and managing complex budgets and compliance requirements.
Kipp also has extensive, hands-on experience in affordable housing development, including work with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, USDA Rural Development, the Housing Trust Fund, and HUD Section 811 funding, serving as an owner’s representative on active housing projects. She brings a collaborative, data-driven approach, strong regional partnerships, and ability to translate mission into sustainable, systems-level solutions with measurable outcomes.
During the leadership transition, Associate Directors Morgan Winchester and Billy Greel have served as interim directors, ensuring Samaritan House operations continued without interruption. With Kipp’s appointment, Samaritan House is well-positioned to continue its mission of providing shelter and supportive services to individuals and families facing homelessness in Kalispell.
