Browning girls race past C-Falls at home

BROWNING — Josephine Michael scored 14 points and Browning used home court advantage to take a 53-43 victory over Columbia Falls Thursday in Northwest A girls basketball. 


Kendee Ollinger-CalfBossRibs added 10 for the Indians (6-10 overall, 4-6 in Northwest A games), who used a 12-5 second quarter edge to take a 21-13 halftime lead. 


Onnikka Lawrence and Payton Ross led the Wildkats (8-7, 6-3 in conf.) with 13 points each.

LIBBY — Avery Orme scored 19 points and Allie Shors added 12 as Whitefish bested Libby 50-29 in Northwest A girls basketball Thursday. 


Reese Hudson added eight as the Bulldogs (10-5 overall, 6-3 in Northwest A games) jumped ahead 26-8 at the half. 


Rylee Delmas scored 18 points for the Loggers (2-14, 0-10 in conf.), who outscored Whitefish 15-4 in the final frame.
