Citizens of Bonners Ferry are anticipating an unusual treat at the annual meeting and banquet of the Kootenai Valley Commercial Club. President A.H. Upham of the University of Idaho will give the main address of the evening, and the program will be rounded out by local speaking and musical talent.
The Junior class promenade, given at the Myers and Strom Hall Saturday evening was a brilliant success and will long be remembered as the outstanding social event of the year.
J.W. Reid, proprietor of Reid's Department Store, returned Saturday evening from a 10 day trip to St. Louis and other Midwest buying markets where he purchased spring stocks of dry goods, shoes and furnishings.

Now that Bonners Ferry is going to get its first-ever live performance venue on Ash Street, the little theater needs a name. The person who ends up naming the theater will receive a year's pass to attend performances for two.
Bonners Ferry High School Spanish teacher Linda Hall is inviting Spanish students on a trip to Costa Rica over Spring break 2012.
Mountain West Bank has named Patti Branson the new branch manager.
