Marjeane Susan (Reynolds) Jarvey Feb. 4, 1943 - Jan. 30, 2026

Marjeane Susan (Reynolds) Jarvey, 82, passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2026, just days before her 83rd birthday. Marjeane was born Feb. 4, 1943, in Wallace, Idaho, and was raised in Kellogg, Idaho. She attended the Kellogg School District. Kellogg always held a special place in her heart, as it was where her roots, friendships and many cherished memories were formed.

In 1960, Marjeane married Ronald Jarvey, the love of her life, and together they raised three children. Throughout her life, Marjeane was known for her caring nature. She worked as a secretary for the YMCA and later at an optometrist’s office in Kellogg, Idaho, where she was valued for her reliability, organization and kindness.

In 1997, Marjeane and Ron moved to Rockleigh, N.J., where they became caretakers of a 20-acre estate — a role they truly enjoyed and took great pride in. In 2002, they returned to the Northwest, settling in Spokane, Wash., where Marjeane found joy in caring for four children and being close to family once again.

Marjeane will be remembered for her quiet strength, generous heart and devotion to family. Her love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Marjeane was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd “Buzz” Reynolds and Florence Reynolds, and by her sisters, Ginger and Shaun.

She is survived by her children, six grandchildren — Ryan (Jessie) Sager, Rory Sager, Derek (Kristin) Jarvey, Alyssa (Levi) Newton-Sims, Peyton and Savannah Boone — and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice in Marjeane’s memory.
