The Art Spirit Gallery's "Seeing with Heart – Three Ways of Witnessing the World," an exhibition featuring Sheila Miles, Kay O’Rourke and Meidi Karampour at Barrister Winery, is now open and runs through Feb. 24.

This show marks the gallery’s final exhibition in a long‑standing February tradition at Barrister — and one of the final exhibitions in the Art Spirit Gallery’s history as it prepares to close its doors.

"Seeing With Heart" brings together three artists who each practice a distinct form of deep witnessing.

Miles captures the overlooked beauty of rural America, transforming ordinary roadside moments into extraordinary compositions.

O’Rourke reveals the mythic layers beneath daily life through her signature magical realism and narrative depth.

Karampour paints the quiet rituals of contemporary living, creating scenes that feel universally familiar and emotionally resonant.

Together, their work invites viewers to rediscover the world through three powerful artistic lenses.

“This exhibition is deeply meaningful for us,” Blair Williams, owner and director of the Art Spirit Gallery, said in a Feb. 3 news release. “Barrister Winery has been our February home for so many years, and sharing art in this space has been one of the great joys of our gallery’s connections. As The Art Spirit Gallery prepares to close, this final show at Barrister is both a celebration and a heartfelt thank‑you to the community that has supported us for nearly three decades.”

Barrister Winery is at 1213 W. Railroad Alley, Spokane.
