Twelve student ambassadors delivered several hundred Valentine's Day cards Thursday to residents of the Idaho State Veterans Home in Post Falls.

Families from Greensferry Elementary School who attended last week's Tech Timeout event created some of the cards. Students across the school brought in many to share their appreciation for North Idaho's veterans. Some valentines were handmade, and others were the kind that students give to their classmates during Valentine's Day parties. Some even included fun candy, slime and other kid-friendly items.
