Amy Lynn (Adams) Shibley passed away peacefully in her sleep Feb. 4, 2026, at the age of 56. Amy was born Aug. 16, 1969, to Jim and Diane Adams in San Fernando, Calif. Her family later moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where she graduated from high school, formed lifelong friendships and built deep roots in the community she always called home.

On June 2, 1990, Amy married the love of her life, Darin Shibley, in Coeur d’Alene. Their 35-year marriage was marked by love, devotion, and true partnership. Together, they owned and operated Inland Fence Company, working side by side until selling the business and retiring in 2024.

Amy was a dedicated businesswoman and a longtime member of the Coeur d’Alene Golf Club, where she especially cherished rounds of golf with her mother. She also had a deep love for animals and shared her life with many beloved dogs and cats over the years. Earlier in her career, Amy worked for seven years in the HR department at North Idaho College and seven years at North Idaho Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Amy was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Adams. She is survived by her devoted husband, Darin; her parents, Jim and Diane Adams; her brother, Bob Adams; her in-laws; nieces and nephews; extended family; and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Companions Animal Center in Hayden, Idaho. At Amy’s request, no service will be held. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
