Ruth Elaine Waldron, a dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 1, 2026, at the age of 80. She was surrounded by the love of her family and the peace of God’s promise.

Born on Sept. 6, 1945, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Ruth found great joy in the outdoors. Whether tending her garden, camping, watching the moose pass by, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, she felt closest to God in His creation. She loved sharing these moments with her family and her significant other, encouraging everyone to slow down, breathe deeply and notice the simple blessings around them.

Ruth was a loving mother to her children, a guiding light to her grandchildren and a treasured presence to her great-grandchildren. Her home was a place of warmth and love. She will be remembered for her listening ear and for the way she made everyone feel welcome and valued.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Beverly Mutton and her husband Paul, Lorrinda Rappé and her husband, Tom, and Lisa Huffman and her husband, Troy; her significant other, Marvin Taylor; her grandchildren, Chris Voss, Michael Voss, Kalan Marr, Kayla Hagel, Alexander Rappé, Isaac Rappé, Austin Rappé, Tyler Pursch and Hannah Pursch; her great-grandchildren, Autumn Voss, Violet Voss, Avery Rappé, Paisley Rappé and Oliver Pursch; her two sisters, Marilyn Driscoll and Edith Davis; and many extended family members and dear friends.

“Whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16
