Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty recently gathered at the Hagadone Event Center to honor the firm's elite talent and humanitarian spirit, which have defined it for over 50 years.
The event, themed around loyalty and community leadership, celebrated a year of record-breaking production, including a total sales volume of $1.1 billion and over 1,400 transaction sides.
A legacy of heroes and humanitarianism
The afternoon’s most poignant moment was the presentation of the Laura Fulton Humanitarian Award to Ryan and Kelly Egan. Following an emotional introduction by Brooke Wood, Kelly Egan shared a powerful testimony regarding her journey as a two-time cancer survivor. She expressed a profound belief that her experiences were "divinely orchestrated," giving her the unique empathy needed to serve others facing affliction.
The ceremony also honored the memories of beloved company icons through the Cindy Roth Spirit Award, presented to John Cordell, and the Chad Dwyer Integrity Award, awarded to Robert Jacobs II.
Leadership and the "non-compete" advantage
A recurring theme of the day was the firm’s unique culture of support. CBSR is celebrated for its non-compete leadership model, which focuses solely on agent coaching and contract troubleshooting.
"I cannot imagine running a brokerage or being able to operate one at the exceptional level demonstrated by our leaders," noted Hayden Anderl, who received the Star Performer award. "Their guidance and support is the reason I am here."
Founder Gary Schneidmiller reflected on the company’s history of talent retention, exemplified by Carmen Myklebust, who celebrated 35 years with the firm. "I am so proud to be your broker," Schneidmiller told the room. "Thank you for the incredible work you perform every day."
Top producers and market dominance
The banquet recognized the immense production of the Inland Northwest’s top real estate professionals. High-volume honors included:
• Top Sales Volume: Greg Rowley
• Top Sales Units: Brenda Burk
• Top Sales Achievement: Darren Miller
• Top Rookie of the Year: Brian and Donna Luft
• International Society of Excellence (Top Tier): Brenda Burk, Darren Miller, Ian Swanstrom, Greg Rowley, Scott Carr and Hayden Anderl.
Closing remarks from leadership
The event concluded with a powerful message from the leadership team, emphasizing that the firm’s success is built on the strength of its people rather than on numbers alone.
Mark Johnson, president and CEO, echoed this sentiment, praising the collective effort of the staff and agents. "Gary is the best broker in the country, and the excellence we see in this room today is a testament to the culture of 'humble stewardship' he has built over five decades."
