British guitarist and composer Laura Snowden makes her Flathead Valley debut Feb. 28 as part of North Valley Music School’s 2026 Classical Guitar Series.

A protégé of the legendary Julian Bream, Snowden is known for her expressive musicianship, technical mastery and artistic originality that expand the possibilities of the instrument.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Stack Recital Hall at North Valley Music School, 1998 River Lakes Parkway, Whitefish. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the school’s scholarship program. Tickets are available online at northvalleymusicschool.org.

The series continues in August with Grammy Award–winning guitarist Jason Vieaux. In the fall, Italy-based SoloDuo (Matteo Mela and Lorenzo Michel) is scheduled to perform.

The series is curated and sponsored by classical guitarist and producer James Stroud of Whitefish.
