Girls go 1-2 on the week

The Columbia Falls girls basketball team went 1-2 in the past week
The Wildkats dropped Polson 53-35 Feb. 10, but lost to Browning Feb.12, 53-43 and then had a rough go against Whitefish Tuesday, 48-38 at home.
Against Polson the Kats were led by Onnikka Lawrence with 21 points, five boards and seven steals.
Rylee Sweeney had 10 points and three blocks. The Kats had a whopping 14 steals in the win.
But against Browning the girls had a tough night shooting, just 26% from the field and 17% from beyond the arc.
Peyton Ross had 12 in the loss. Lawrence 14. Alexa Friske had 10.
Against Whitefish, the girls got into foul trouble early, didn't rebound particularly well, and had a rough night shooting. Lawrence led the squad with 18.
The Kats are 7-4 in league play and 9-8 overall.
The girls play 7:15 p.m. against Bigfork Friday night.
