Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Daniel Weeks to the Emergency Department.
Dr. Weeks recently relocated to Libby from Bowling Green, Kentucky, and is excited to begin serving patients and families across Northwest Montana.
Dr. Weeks brings a strong background in emergency medicine and a patient-focused approach to care. He completed his residency at the University of Louisville and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
“My goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for acute medical conditions and to empower patients to better care for themselves,” said Dr. Weeks. “I enjoy teaching, answering questions and helping demystify the medical process. Spending meaningful, face-to-face time with patients is a critical part of providing high-quality emergency care.”
Dr. Weeks is married and has three daughters. He and his family are looking forward to a slower pace of life in Libby and enjoying the many outdoor opportunities northwest Montana has to offer. Outside of work, Dr. Weeks enjoys woodworking, gardening, hunting, hiking, camping, weightlifting, kayaking, reading, dabbling with the piano and spending time doing jigsaw puzzles with his daughters.
Dr. Weeks recognizes that emergency department visits often occur during stressful moments.
“No one who comes to the emergency department is having a good day,” he said. “I do my very best to help patients feel better, put their minds at ease, and rule out worst-case scenarios. When answers are not immediately clear, I focus on guiding patients to the right next steps and connecting them with the care they need.”
Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is proud to welcome Dr. Weeks to the medical staff and looks forward to the compassionate, thoughtful care he will provide to the community.
