Lady Griz fall in OT to Weber, losing streak at 6

MISSOULA — Antoniette Emma-Nnop scored 28 points, 22 after halftime, and Weber State downed Montana 86-79 in overtime Saturday on Robin Selvig Court, the sixth straight loss for the Lady Griz.
Lanae Billy scored 23 points for Weber State (9-20 overall, 3-13 Big Sky). Paris Lauro added 15 points off the bench for the Wildcats, including a 3-pointer with 1:12 left in overtime that broke a 79-79 tie. Weber, which lost to Montana 51-50 at home last month, scored the last seven points of the game.
Sydney White checked in with 10 points and six rebounds.
Five players reached double figures for the Lady Griz (7-19, 4-11 BSC), led by Avery Waddington’s 14 points. Rae Ehrman added 13 points and six rebounds for UM; fellow reserve Jacelyn Land added 11 and six. Land’s two free throws with 4 seconds left in regulation knotted the game at 69-all.
Mack Konig added 12 points, shooting 5 for 15 from the floor. Aby Shubert hit three 3-pointers and chipped in 11.
Thursday
Idaho St. 71, Montana 64
Piper Carlson scored 19 points, shooting 8 of 11 from the field, to help the Bengals avenge a 70-67 overtime home loss to the Lady Griz last month.
Four players reached double figures for Idaho State (18-8 overall, 11-4 BSC). The Bengals led 33-19 at halftime — holding UM to six points in the second quarter — and were up 57-32 going to the fourth.
Waddington led Montana with 18 points. Redshirt freshman Ava Cossette scored six points in the fourth quarter.
