Michael, Trombley power Browning girls

BROWNING — Josephine Michael poured in 21 points, Tess Trombley added 14 and the Browning Lady Indians put away Northwest A rival Polson 58-46 with a big fourth quarter Saturday.

Michael hit her second 3-pointer of the game and scored 11 points in the fourth period; Trombley hit a three and scored eight points in the frame as Browning (8-10 overall, 6-6 in the Northwest A) expanded on a 37-33 lead. 

Rylee Taylor-Jefferson led three Lady Pirates (9-8, 5-6) in double figures with 16 points.

LIBBY — Neveah Perez scored 14 points to lead a balanced scoring effort from the Ronan Maidens, who led this Northwest A game 33-9 at halftime. 

Perez had 10 points by intermission for the Maidens (6-12 overall, 5-7 in league). Neffertiti Stewart added 11. 

Leah Rusdahl led the Lady Loggers (2-16, 0-12) with seven points.
