COEUR d'ALENE — Raising Cane's will open its doors at 163 W. Neider Ave. on Tuesday, March 17, and 20 "caniacs" that attend the grand opening will get free Cane's for a year.

“We’re so excited to have Raising Cane’s continue its growth in Idaho,” Area Leader of Restaurants McWilliam O’Quinn said in a press release. “The energy and support we’ve seen from local communities across the state has been amazing, and we can’t wait to bring that same passion to Coeur d’Alene."

The restaurant's hours of operation have not yet been made available.

The restaurant has been working to hire over 100 people before opening day for positions including cashier, fry cook, restaurant crewmember and customer service associate.

"Building a great crew here and becoming part of the local community is something we’re really looking forward to,” O'Quinn said.

The Coeur d'Alene restaurant will mark the third Cane's in the state, and the first in North Idaho. Until the opening of the Neider Avenue location, the closest Cane's was across state lines in Spokane.
