The Kalispell Police Department received a complaint about someone reportedly dropping garbage bags about four to five feet away from a trash can in an alley. The caller did not have any information on the inconsiderate suspect but emphasized that it had been going on for a month and “It’s not OK.”

A man wearing a black coat and walking along a road seemed drunk to a passerby, who said he had fallen and looked like he was going to stride into traffic. He allegedly threw up his middle finger and walked away.

A victim of alleged identity theft requested a police report to get a loan — fraudulently taken out in his name — removed from credit reports. He said he was also requesting a police report from San Francisco, saying an unknown individual had received a grant for the 2024-25 school year in his name.

A woman with a child called the police, distraught over her purse allegedly being stolen from her cart, noting there was a gun in it. She then found the purse, saying someone turned it in with the gun still inside.

A two-vehicle crash reportedly resulted from a vehicle running a stop sign. One of the vehicles involved reportedly then hit a man’s truck parked on his property.

Two doses of a medication to reverse or reduce the effects of opioids were allegedly administered to a woman with labored breathing. When conscious, she started running away, screaming at people. Officers were unable to locate her to check on her well-being.

Someone calling from a store asked officers to check on a woman who had reportedly been lying in a corner near an ice machine for an hour.
