The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Kiewit Construction recently completed a portion of dewatering in the U.S. 93 Post Creek Hill area and are now working on the remaining wells.

According to a press release, dewatering is the process of removing water from construction sites to create a stable work environment. Work is slated to begin in late summer to widen the highway corridor and create a passing lane on Post Creek Hill.

Drivers can anticipate alternating lane closures with signals facilitating traffic movement from each end of the work zone, with traffic control in place 24 hours a day. Drivers should prepare for delays and continue to be cautious within and around the work zone.
