The city needs a new water system. The State Chemist and Sanitary Engineer say both the North and South side water need to be tested at least monthly for bacteria.

M and M Food City has a new store manager this week. Ray Lowther started work here last week and is being trained by John Bolser.
3 Mile Cafe will now be open Sunday.
Among the many boys who received awards in scouting during the Blue and Gold Banquet were: Carson Bosworth, Jeff Sawyer, Jeff Clark and Darwin Baker.
"No. 1" Badgers won the IM crown. Now they're off to the District Tourney.
Friday is Bicentennial Dress-up Day.

Spontaneous combustion was the source of a small fire in Mario's Restaurant early Thursday morning.
Several property owners living along the upper Moyie River and near Eastport received letters from Boundary County Commissioners asking them to prepare for possible flooding.
When Boundary County School District puts together its calendar, it allows for four scheduled snow days. Monday, Feb. 28 marked the sixth snow day this school year. One make-up day has been scheduled for Friday, March 25.
